This message is really late but I was her home health aide through Visiting Angels (I used to weed her flowers for her ). I'd like to offer my condolences to the family as I'm only learning of her passing just now.But he was truly an inspiration to me. We shared a great many laughs together. She was such a great person that I still find myself thinking of her until this day. I hate that I missed her home going but I wish the family all the best.

My deepest condolences to Bernice's family. I knew Bernice through my Aunt LaVerne Schulte who was Bernice's sister-in-law and also worked with her at the violin factory. Although I haven't seen Bernice in 30+ years, I remember her so well through all the family gatherings. She and Kenny were special people. RIP, Bernice.

We're sad to read about the passing of Bernice.She always had a large welcoming smile and a big hug when we visited her.Growing up, she always called me Sonny. She and my mom, Erna Schreiber worked side-by-side at the Violin String Factory. They laughed a lot together. She and Kenny lived across the street from my folks.
