Annie Sue Huss Dallas-Annie Sue Kirkland Huss, 68 of , Dallas, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 1, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was a native of Gaston County, NC, born December 28, 1945 to Mary Pauline Kirkland. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother to all. She was the best! She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. Annie worked at J P Stevens, Robinson Plant and retired from Stabilus with over 17 years. She enjoyed being a mentor for Tryon Elementary School. Annie's favorite verse was Proverbs 31-10 She is preceded in death by her mother, a brother Bobby Kirkland and a great granddaughter Chole Hawkins Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Larry E. Huss; Her two daughters, Lori Huss Hawkins and Lisa Huss Gaddis; one sister Debby Robbins; Grandchildren Adam and Erin Hawkins, Lee and Linda Hawkins, Anna and Adrian Ballard, Stephanie and Stephan Castro, Monica Gaddis and Megan Gaddis. Great grandchildren Mariana, Aidan, Bella Sue, Riley, Zack, Carson, Autumn, Clay III, Jacob, Breley, Madison, Emma Kate, Eva and Elijah. . The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00pm Friday January 3, 2014, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Celebration of Life service will be 11:00AM Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Dallas Wesleyan Church with Reverend Phil Harrington, Reverend Hobert Isley and Reverend Roger Brackett officiating Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with the Releasing of the Doves Pallbearers will be Adam Hawkins, Lee Hawkins, James Robbins, Adrian Ballard, Bobby Sisk and Donnie Cline The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the Gaston Hospice staff, Tammy, Cindy and Judy.
