I honestly could not believe the news; I just got back to town about two months ago.

Tony, you were so full of love and fun, and I and Mathieu had just made it our mission to find you this coming Friday. I am so saddened my dear friend, but I will forever remember your smiles and the kindness you shared as I hope to see you in Christ's kingdom.

I had the pleasure of getting to Tony when he worked at Hughes. He was so sweet! I lost touch with him and asked about him recently when I heard the bad news. I'm so saddened to hear that he is gone. He was such a sweet down to earth person. You will be truly missed Tony. May you rest in peace and find happiness with our heavenly Father. My condolences go out to the Armendariz Family.

I worked with Tony at Hughes Markets on Beverly & Doheny along with Darlene Rhym back in the late 90's. We were very good friends and used to go on trips together with a lot of the "Hughes" gang. He was a wonderful person with a huge heart. We stayed in touch but had recently lost communication. To have known Tony was an honor, our hearts are broken. Our sencere condolences to the Armendariz family.

I used to work at Hughes/Ralphs Markets with Tony.. A handful of us used hang out and go to the local restaurants, amusement parks and ski trips, etc..I still have videos of the fun we all had.. He will be missed dearly. My heart goes out to the family.

We will miss you Tony. I know somewhere in Heaven the party is just getting started. You brought so much light and life to our lives and we will always be grateful to have known you, love to you and your family always, David and AnnaLisa Bowman

My deepest condolences to the Armendariz family, may God hold Tony and your family his Grace and Glory. I spent a very special time with Tony at praise chapel and I considered him a sweet and thoughtful friend. He had the sweetest Smile and the biggest Heart and Soul. I will forever cherish and treasure our baptism together and the time I spent with him. Tony, may you Soar with the Angels in the Heavens of our Lord and find everlasting Love in your Heart and Soul. I am so sad to hear about Tony's passing. The news was devastating! This has been a difficult week. When I knew Tony, he was funny, kind hearted, and such a joy to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with Tony and all of his family.

The Armendariz Family have been friends of my family for many, many years. Not only was Tony a co-worker and very good friend of my mom, he graciously accompanied me to my senior prom. He was always the quintessential "nice guy," so, so rare these days. He was such an amazing person on so many levels, and I will miss him dearly. Love you, "Pinnage."

Tony was such a sweet and gentle man...I reconnected with him in recent years at his work and always looked forward to running into him to say hello. My heart just breaks for all of Tony's family and friends - I'm so sorry for your loss. Tony will be so missed.

All those years at St. Robert's , when I was a room mother for his and my daughter Tracy's class , going on field trips with them, attempting to keep those "boys" in line, and watching them grow into young men and women. Tony's smile could light up a room and that is how I remember him. He was always a caring and sweet guy who had a really funny sense of humor. May God wrap his arms around Tony today and always. I will always keep the family in my prayers.
