BATTISTA, ANTHONY E., 55, of Branch Ave., passed away on July 8. He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Erminia (Venditelli) Battista, former owners of the Battista & Son Supermarket in Eagle Park, Providence.

He leaves his daughter, Antonia Rodrigues; a granddaughter, Arianna Rodrigues; and a sister, Elaine Battista. He was the uncle of Armand, Matthew, and Ryan DuBois, Kelli, Stefanie, and Justin Dugas; and Great Uncle of Victoria DuBois. He was the brother of the late Concetta DuBois.

Visitation Friday MORNING from 8-10 AM in the A.A MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Daddy miss you and love you so much.....miss all of those mornings we used to get up so early just be first at Jeanettes bakery.....so many of your stories you used to tell me are still with me today.....wish you were here.....love you
