Anthony J Burnett

"We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Anthony James Burnett (Tony) at the age of 59 on 7/20/2023. Born in Champaign, IL he graduated from Valparaiso High School and Purdue University. He was a former board member and coach at the Seasons Soccer Club. At his death, he resided in Las Vegas, NV. Tony was a loving and devoted father, husband and friend. Tony enjoyed traveling to many countries around the world, exploring and embracing a multitude of different cultures with his family and friends. Tony also enjoyed nights at home spent with family watching some of his favorite sport teams including the Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Bears, University of Tennessee Volunteers, Purdue Boilermakers and the University of Miami Hurricanes. Tony was preceded in death by his mother Dawn Lowe, grandmother Fern Kirk and father-in-law Leonard Cyzyk. Tony will be dearly missed by his wife Karen(Cyzyk)Burnett, his sister Becki Luttrell, his two sons; Joshua of Knoxville,TN and Adam Burnett of Las Vegas as well as his brother-in-law, Keith(Brenda)Cyzyk, sister-in-law, Gail(Andy)Longest and his mother-in-law Barbara Cyzyk, also his nieces and nephews, Allison(Cyzyk)Flood, Samuel Cyzyk, Claire Longest, Owen Longest and Jessica(Luttrell) Barnes. He will also be missed by numerous cousins and friends. Tony can best be remembered through his good-hearted nature, nonjudgmental character and a loving and welcoming heart. His absence will be dearly missed. A private memorial with family to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Thank you for all the kind condolences and God bless."
