Sometimes you miss your chance to say goodbye. Thank you for our short time together. They are times I look back on fondly.

I will always remember his passion for cooking. Asparagus patties for the win! And his famous one-pan meals. He was fun to be around and even though it's always too soon, glad to know he was happy till the end of his long life.

My grandpa was always the strongest voice in the room. Growing up, it was often intimidating to be around him but always rewarding. He taught me so many things, some of the fundamentals of being a man and taking care of your family. I am sure that one day I will be a great father, in part from his teachings and the lessons he had learned from experiences in his life. Always a vivid storyteller, it often amazed me how he could pull memories from the deepest corners of his mind and use them to further the images he was painting in mine. He knew the name of places, people, objects, and he expected us to know them too. My grandpa would often quiz me on random subjects, and while it annoyed me at the time, I find myself often asking if I truly understand something as well as I do. Sure enough, there is always something else to learn. These lessons taught me humility and allowed me to see past myself and towards the needs of others because I am aware of them and their own emotions. He taught me things indirectly, through other methods. I didn´t always agree with his opinions, but I was able to build the skills to form my own more proficiently. I was afraid of my grandpa as a child, but at this point I feel nothing but appreciation and gratitude for the times and memories we shared together.

Tony was like a second father to me. When Apryl was very ill, Tony was so unbelievably strong as we traveled to the hospital everyday together. He always had answers for my questions, I leaned on Tony heavily during that time. Tony was always ready to lend a hand with the multiple moves Apryl and I made in California. When we moved to Arizona, Tony was always talking to Apryl on the phone making her laugh, always a kind and loving father. One of Tony´s best talents was his cooking, his ability to teach others his amazing gifts, was a very special talent. Apryl often used his techniques while she was preparing her delicious meals at our home. Tony and my Dad bonded over spaghetti stories and their great love of Italian food. While in Mesa, Tony showed one of his other unbelievable talents designing an amazing granite counter top and backsplash for our kitchen. He even brought down all the material and his work associate, from California. I am going to miss Tony very much, however I know his spirit will always be with us.
Till we meet again,
- Tom

It was with great sadness and heavy heart to hear the news of Mr. Cicero's passing. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to all. An infinitely wonderful man, his absence leaves a gapping hole, in our lives, and especially in our neighborhood. Fortunately, he will always be with us with his unique spirit, and in our hearts and minds with many fond memories.

I have many, many, great childhood memories growing up around the Cicero family.
Tony was a hardworking family man who was dedicated to his family which he adored.
One fond memory of Tony was when He gave my brother William a bike for his 10th birthday. Tony never had any doubts that William couldn´t learn how to ride a bike. In fact, William learned that very same day . Tony was so proud of Williams
Tony was always so loving and kind towards my family .
I will always cherish & appreciate His kindness and will always remember going over for pizza nights at the Cicero´s house. He was a Great cook too!!!
Rest In Peace.

My father, Anthony (Tony) Cicero Sr. was truly a one of a kind, actual rennaissance man! A loving son, husband and father, a great friend and mentor to countless people, skilled craftsman, mechanic, artist, athlete, musician, warrior and so much more, who not only worked with his hands as a stone mason to create incredible masterpieces of functional architectural art in the form of custom marble and tile works & murals all over the greater Los Angeles area but even worked in our nation´s capital in the National Library. He was and is still highly respected as a contractor and master in the trade! His work legacy lives on in those he mentored throughout his career. His work ethic and perfectionism was second to none.
I´m grateful it rubbed off a little on me!
His passion for vintage cars and custom Hod Rods was a centerpiece of life as together we spent many hours working on his prized 1936 Ford Panel!
His sense of humor always sharp and at the ready. He saw the sublime beauty and ridiculous folly of our existence! He loved a good joke and had an infectious laugh! His legacy also lives on musically in me as he shared his deep love of music, rhythm and drumming from as far back as I can remember and to this day I continue to honor that as a pro drummer and music teacher!
He truly lived, loved and enjoyed the life he was given and carved out for himself! I´m grateful to have had a father like him who taught me so much about life. As a powerful and knowledgeable man of God he reached a place of peace and joy in his faith and embraced death with a strength and dignity that I´m almost envious of. I already do and will continue to miss desperately our late night talks about God, Relationships, Food, Politics, Cars, Drumming & Dreams...
( He often had very vivid flying dreams! ).
And now his spirit soars like an eagle in the heavens!! I Love You Dad!
See you on the other side!
Tony Jr.

Tony was a great chef and quite the comedian. He was a wonderful father to Apryl always calling to check in. Any given holiday while in different states I remember Apryl on the phone with her Dad. She adored him!
I met Tony on several occasions, he was, as mentioned, quite the chef! As Apryl's sister in law. I had the privilege of tasting a few of his meals. Bravo Tony, bravo!
Our fathers would share stories about life and family and I think laughter carried a few houses away.
Tony shared time and love with his daughter Apryl, Son in law Tom, grandson Chris and a few of us who were fortunate enough to have crossed his path. He will be greatly missed.

Tony was such a wonderful caring person to be around. I had many wonderful experiences making his famous meatballs with him. He was the one who taught me how to roll them just right. I loved the time spent with him. I always saw the love he had for his family by the way he spoke about them. He will be truly missed

Daddy,
To you, daddy, the strongest man I´ve
EVER known, in my entire life!!!
There was only YOU!!
You taught me how to cook, when I was 5 years old........you were my #1
Inspiration to go to College, to become a chef!
You made the best spaghetti sauce and Italian food ever (I believe that half of our blood is spaghetti sauce, haha!)
Also, you were the king of SPAM!
You made us the best breakfasts ever!
I will never forget camping, when you asked a bunch of my brother, Tony´s friends to choose a can and bring it to you and you will make a meal out of it (yes, I know, for sure, that you were the MASTER of creating your
Super delicious "One Pan Meals"

Just switched places........you´re the sick child and I´m the mother comforting you and giving you love
"Stay Strong!" You told me.
My heart is broken and I feel like a lost little child, without her daddy,
Looking everywhere for him.
I will forever miss when you call me, the name,"Honey!"
My favorite phrase, that I chose, for everyone to listen........
" Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take, each must go alone. It´s all a part of the Master´s plan. A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me, but let me go."
You left the earth, and earned your wings, my sweet beloved daddy
I love you to the moon and back
"Till we meet again"
I will FOREVER be YOUR "little" girl!!
I love you daddy,

Tony you have forever changed my life. I had the great honor of caring for you in your final days to aid you in giving your family your strength and love during those trying times. You showed the greatest courage in accepting Gods plan for you while holding strongly to each living moment for Jan and your children and grandchildren. Your wisdom and kindness and gentle spirit will be a role model for me always. May you rest in deep peace and live in in the hearts of all who had the fortune of knowing and loving you.
