Gates - Sunday, December 15, 2019 at age 87. Predeceased by his wife Ruth F. Cook, brothers, Walter (Betty) & Robert Cook. He is survived by his children, Anthony S. Jr. (Colleen) Cook, Kathleen (Martin) Craze of England John (Charlene) Cook, David (Amy) Cook, Michael (Jean) Cook, Ann (Mark) VanAuken; grandchildren, Anthony S. III (Amy) Cook, James (Fiona) Heslop, Stephen (Jessica) Cook, Nicole Cook, Jessica (Matthew) Brockelbank, Angela (Anthony) D'Ambra, Holly Heslop, Samantha Cook, Alexa VanAuken, Taylor (Robert III) Herman, Kristina Cook, Courtney Cook, Blake VanAuken, Kameron Cook, Sarah Rose Cook, Sophia Cook, Reece VanAuken, Rachel Cook; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Arlette Cook (Bruce); sisters-in-laws & brother-in-law, Rose Cook, Mary Ann & Robert Campbell; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tony was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean War and was a retiree of Taylor Instruments (1956-1995).
Friends may call Wednesday only 4:00 - 8:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd, Gates. On Thursday, Dec. 19, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Theodore Church. 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 E. River Rd., PO Box 23029 , Rochester NY 14692 in his memory.

Today we also held a service here In Great Gransden at St Bartholomew church, there were tears for the enormous loss we all felt and yet some smiles too as we shared our special memories. You are always in our hearts, there are no boundary of time or distance. We are so grateful to have had you for so long. You will always be with us. Live to all my friends and family in Rochester today, I hope you all find peace xx

Grampa we will miss you so much. We loved you with all our heart and so did Madison and Joseph. I know howuch you loved them too. We didn't know Tony personally but came to love him through Kathy. We have a wonderful group here in the UK of Aga owners and we met Tony through Kathy. What a lovely man he was, with the most amazing smile and wonderful twinkling eyes. He brightened our days every time Kathy went to see him. Deepest sympathy to the whole family. Mr Cook, May God Rest your Soul and comfort your family. You and your family were the best friends and neighbors anyone could ask for.
