My "Squirt" nephew. He has always allowed me that honor - to call him "Squirt". I loved him so much. My first meaningful connection with Tony was holding him in my arms and singing lullabies to him the night he was admitted to the hospital, and they discovered he had CF. He was this tiny little thing. Every day since then, he has been on our church's prayer list. My last meaningful moments with him were at his home, 2 days before he was taken to Boston for the last time. It was a very special 2 hours of just him and I sharing our love. I will hold that memory in my heart forever.

I am so devastated to hear the passing of Tony, he will surely be missed. He was such a go getter and didn't let his sickness get the best of his and literally lived each day like his last. I remember how excited he was to get his transplant after waiting so long, I will cherish our memories and conversations we share throughout the years.

Tony was a very big hearted person. He was there for anyone who needed him or help in general. I was always in awe of him, how he could pull through the hard times without complaining. There should be more people like him in the world. Tony, I love you and you´ll always be in my heart. I can´t wait until I meet you up there and get one of your hugs.

My favorite memory of Tony was when we went with a group of friends to the new Hampden Academy parking lot after dark when it was snowing and drifted in reverse. He was driving and we were all laughing and having a blast. I´ll always cherish that night.
