I was lucky enough to have Joe and Dolores join us at our house for a traditional day after Christmas dinner for several years. Joe was a man that would always put a smile on my face. His simple, heartfelt manner of speaking had a way of connecting with me at a deep level. It's sad to think that he'll never join us for another family dinner, but I'm very grateful for those times I was able to spend with him. I'll always remember Joe with a deep respect and love.

My love and prayer to my Tia Lola and the entire family. Gunney as we White's called him may have been my Mom's primo, but he was more like her brother. My Nana thought of him as her Son and rightly so. So Tio Joe, Uncle Gunney, fly high, you have earned your rightful place above.
