Anthony Joseph Silveria
May 14, 1971 - December 20, 2022
Citrus Heights, California - Anthony Joseph Silveria passed away on December 20, 2022 in Citrus Heights, Ca. He was born on May 14, 1971 to parents, Clarence and Lucinia Silveria. Tony is preceded in death by his dad Clarence and his big sister Bernie. He is survived by his mom, Lucinia; his siblings: Gerri, Peggy, Mary, Patricia, John, Timothy, Kathleen and Theresa; his fur babies Vader and Vistarra; 25 nieces/nephews; and 9 grandnieces/nephews.
Tony will forever be cherished in the lives of his family and friends. Tony will always be remembered for his bear hugs that were bigger than his smile. Tony loved playing football, video games with his brothers and nephews, Star Wars, cooking, and hanging out with his family and friends. Tony dedicated his life to serving others while serving in the US Marines where he served as Military Police and trained dogs; teaching; social work; and working as an advocate for veterans. It was his passion to ensure veterans were taken care of that drove him to achieve his Master's and Doctorate degrees. The family takes comfort knowing that while Tony's service may be done on earth, we know we have gained our Tony angel in heaven to continue his work in heaven.
Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to do the services for the Silveria Family. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held Monday, January 9, 2022 at 5PM at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home at 1050 McHenry Ave. Modesto, CA. I'm so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was my occupational counselor and we developed a friendship during that time, in which we discussed his passion for service and his love for dogs. He had a great sense of humor and a quirky, endearing relationship with cars.

Tony, we were stationed together at Camp Pendleton. I wss a swat guy and you were new to the unit as k9 kennel master. You were always in a good mood, happy go lucky and never treated any one badly. I hate we all lost touch after getting out. I only recently learned of your passing. Your family and friends are in my prayers. Semper Fidelis fellow Belleau Woodsman...
