LANESE--Anthony L. Jr.,

on August 1, 2017 of Cliffside Park, NJ, age 89. Anthony was born on February 28, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring he was the President of Genoa Cherry Corp. in West New York, NJ. Beloved husband to Lillian (nee Augustyn). Devoted father to Anthony Lanese III, John Lanese and Rosemary Reisch from his first marriage to Anna (nee Giangreco). Loving stepfather to Diane Gorfaine. Adored grandfather to Christopher, Jessica, Matthew and Remi. Dear step-grandfather to Elan, Melissa, Caitlin and Lizzie. Anthony is also survived by his faithful aide Sharmaine. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 6:30pm at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Cremation will be private.
