He was an avid NASCAR and wrestling fan. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in McLeansville, NC. In addition to his father, Tony leaves behind his wife, Beryl whom he cared for and loved for the past twenty-six years. He is also survived by his daughter, Christy Mayberry of Greensboro; son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Melissa Mayberry of Greensboro; his beloved grandchildren, Alexis and Lil' Neil Mayberry who both called him PawPaw. Brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Mayberry of Greensboro; brother-in-law Ken Norris and his wife, Lynn of Gibsonville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence and Bernelle Norris of Gibsonville; niece, Andria Martin and her husband, David; nephews, Chad Mayberry and wife, Liz and Jason Mayberry all of Greensboro; great niece and nephews, Jacob, Allison and Holden. I am deeply sorry for your family's loss. Tony was a friend of mine from early childhood. He was someone you could call on when you needed him no matter what time he would come. I will miss him. I had lost touch with him when I moved to Daytona Beach, Fl. He always would say to me "teach me some of that Kung-Fu" and laugh like crazy. He was a good man. I will miss him.

Sincerely, Steveie Mathews
