To Anthony's Family,

As Anthony's Godfather I must let you know that although I did not have much to do ( other than Pray) with the person Anthony was, although I did follow his accomplishments in Old Forge...My Brother John called today with the new's of his passing. As I look back of my day's in Old Forge, the Mordent Family have always been close to my heart. Anthony's Grandmother, Tessie, was my Godmother. His dad, Carmen and I were on the same bowling team(Salerno's) and his aunts, Janet and Mary. who worked at Topp's gave my son Billy Jr. many, many baseball cards...I remember good times and some hard times financially, I remember Snyder Patch Day and Clambakes where Anthony"s Home sits now...I remember a neighborhood of Love and understanding. My wish for Anthony's Family is, as life goes on, to remember the Good, remember the Loving Father Anthony's was, and bring his Love to the World. Know that someone 2400 Miles from Old Forge will remember your Dad and Husband during this Holy week and Easter.
Peace, Billy Nese
