PAPAGNI, Anthony G. 'Tony' Of Arlington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2023. Beloved husband of 67 years to Lena (Capotosto). Cherished father of Betty Lally and her husband John of Arlington, and Diana Kresien and her husband Karl, of Woburn; and his children, Willie and Mikaela. Adored 'Papa' of Tara Burgess and her husband, Lachlan, and Shane Lally and his wife, Michelle of North Carolina. Proud great-grandfather of Aubrey, Sophie, and Evan. Dear brother of the late Mary Fauci, and Peter and Julio Papagni. Tony is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Retired Patrolman, Cambridge Police Department. Late Korean Conflict Army Veteran. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 14, in St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington at 12PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867. Dear Lena and family,
We remember when we first gathered at our house for Michelle & Shane´s wedding. Tony and you were laughing and talking with Michelle´s grandparents from Texas. It was a joy to see. May memories like these fill your hearts and comfort you. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace in God´s love.

i remember tony in the 70s when he worked the tow desk and i worked for pats towing he was a good guy rest in peace my friend
