Bro. Dale: I just learned of Anthony's passing this week while I was visiting my Pensacola family. I was shocked. Only the Lord can give you the strength you need now, however, those of us you have helped want to try, too. Remember all the comforting words you said to Jim as he lay dying with cancer. Remember your soft, kind words to me as I buried Jim who was my husband and a loving dad to our children. Remember his burial at Barrancas Nat'l Cemetary and the hope in Christ you gave to all those who attended. Now multiply that by the hundreds upon thousands of times you have had just the right words, thoughts, and prayers for others. Maybe some of those meaningful moments will come to you and keep you looking to the One that will hold you up. Though our efforts to help are frail, we are all out here thinking of you, hurting with you, and watching as the Lord steps in as you have said many times "to do just exactly what you need". We will always love you, Mrs. Louise, Beverly, Daleton, and the rest of the family and will remember so fondly our 14 years at East Brent. No one makes a more beautiful centerpiece than Mrs. Louise, no one sings like Daleton, and no one could be a better wife and mom than Beverly. I know that every day will be a painful effort for you all until Heaven brings you together again, and I will be praying for God's mighty strength for you. Prayers come from my children, Mrs. Jaime (Boggs) Plecenik, Mrs. Jennifer (Boggs) Robinson, and Mrs. Joni (Boggs) Middleton, and well as from our church, Southside Baptist in Lake City.

Bro. Dale and family,
My family and I were so shocked to hear of Anthony's passing. We are so sorry for your loss and are praying that God will comfort and bless you like only He can. I have a lasting memory of Anthony -- a beautiful prayer he prayed in Sunday School at Roseland Park -- I have never forgotten it. My parents -- Richard & Nan Ellis -- express their condolences as well and want you to know your entire family are in their prayers.

Reverend and Mrs. Patterson, I want to let you know that I am praying for you and your family. Words are not enough at this time, but know that brothers and sisters in Christ are holding you up in their prayers. I recently lost my wife on October 24th of this year to breast cancer at the age of 35. I know the pain you are feeling, but know that God's grace is more than sufficient. Love in Christ, Reverend Glenn Vaughn (Music Minister of Pensacola First Assembly of God)

To Bro. Dale,Mrs. Louise,Beverly and Children. My thoughts and prayers go to your family. Brother Dale you made a great impression on my life and explained the plan of salvation. Some of my fondest memories were playing football and catching Anthony in baseball. I know Anthony and his brother Jeff are playing ball in heaven together. It broke my heart to hear the news and I could not make it to the services.I love you all and praying for you.

To the Patterson Family-I want to express my deepest sympathies to you after the loss of your loved one. I have such fond memories of the time our families shared so many years ago. I worked with Anthony for 11 years at Farm Bureau. I know how much he loved the Lord. It was present in everything he did. He was one of the kindest, funniest people I have ever known, and I will miss him so very much. All the secretaries and agents are devastated. He was so much a part of our days that we feel so incomplete without him. I know that he is in heaven with the angels chasing the coons with his dogs. I know that we all will keep Anthony's family in our prayers and thoughts. I will always remember his smile, and will rely on that memory to hold back the sadness I feel so much today. My family will miss the stories of the hilarious antics that Anthony pulled on the secretaries.

Brothter Dale, You were there for me and Karen when we lost Billy. It comforted us for you to tell us "I know how you feel" because we knew you had walked in our shoes. When Karen died, you shared the wisdom of your mother to you that "God could trust you with this." That was the thought that got me through the lonely days that followed. Recently, when my father died, you once again offered comfort to my saddened soul by reminding me that my father still lives in me. In the last 17 years, I have walked the path of you and Louise, of Beverly and of Justin and Tiffany. For now, while in your quiet spaces, you feel hurt and alone, but you will make it through this and be all the stronger for it. May God Bless and comfort you all and the ministry He will have because of this time.

OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY AND BREAKING
THAT THIS BEAUTIFUL, DEVOTED FAMILY HAS HAD TO SUFFER SUCH GREAT LOSS.
WE UNDERSTAND THAT GODS PLAN IS ALWAYS PERFECT, BUT WE SURE HAVE SOME BIG QUESTIONS FOR HIM RIGHT NOW.BRO. DALE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR OUR ENTIRE FAMILY, AND RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND ASSURANCE THAT WE WILL SOMEDAY ENTER THE GATES OF HEAVEN.FATHER,I know that all You require of us is to trust You, and look to You in faith and You will come and save us, and bring us an answer. You always have, and You always will, because you are faithful. You never fail any of us who look to You. We have failed You, Lord, by our doubt and unbelief at times, but You have never failed us. Lord, please Heal this pain we feel in our heart and help us to trust You more. Fill this empty place in our heart with more of Your Spirit. We ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen WE LOVE YOU DEON & DEB HAWKINS
