Anthony Platas

Beloved husband, father, and chiropractor Dr. Anthony Platas passed away on Wednesday 03/21/18 after suffering a severe stroke. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, and three young men, who he raised to the best of his abilities.

He was all that a man should be: tough, loyal, kind, caring, hardworking, and ever-present in his family's lives. He would routinely work 12 hour days at his privately owned and operated Chiropractic office, and still somehow made time to make sure he would never miss a baseball game, a swim meet, or a graduation.

When he wasn't working his fingers to the bone, he enjoyed nothing more than coaching his sons in baseball, going to the movie theater, or simply taking long drives through the mountains with his wife.

Famous for providing personal and quality care, his chiropractic business flourished for over 20 years, and his patients became his second family; he truly valued their friendship and wellbeing.

While it may be the end of this life here on earth, Anthony knew there was more to come. A devout Christian, Tony is up in heaven, holding in his arms his precious, little girl Amber, who his family lost when she was only 9 years old. His family waits patiently until they will see him again.

Though we can wish for more time, we cannot wish for a better father. A man, a friend, a husband, a mentor, a coach, a hero; this is the legacy of Anthony Platas, and he will live on through his sons.
