ANTHONY "TONY"
Age 46, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, February 15, 2013, of Bridgeville, formerly of Whitehall. Loving husband of 15 years to Nicole L. (Hughes); beloved son of Joseph S. and Carolyn J. Spagnolo; one of a kind brother of Len (Melanie), Lisa (Bill) Miller, Vince (Terri) and Steve (Suzee) Spagnolo; cherished uncle of Alex and Maddie Miller, Ariel, Madison and Todd Spagnolo, Nick Spagnolo and Domenic and Luke Spagnolo; also survived by his many loyal friends. Tony was a 26 year employee at Kane Regional Scott and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1985 where he was an equipment manager for the athletic department. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227, Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday at 12:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243. I worked with Tony at Kane Hospital he was a wonderful person he was so good natured and kind he only saw the good in people he loved to laugh he loved life and he loved Nicole very much he had the qualities that I wish more people had there are not many on this earth like tony I was truly honored to call him my friend I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing I just want to express my condolences to the Spagnolo family and to Nicole he was a great person and he will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him

Tony is a wonderful and loving and considerate person. He loved life, people and animals. He is my dream come true. He showed me what true love really is. He loved with all his heart. I could've ask for a better husband than him. He loved unconditional. We shared 15 beautiful years together and I am so thankful god sent him to me. We were best-friends, and husband and wife. Tony will always be with me every step of my life. He is my heart, soul, and my angel. When I think about Tony, I think of his beautiful smile and his big brown eyes and his heart of gold. Thank you god for giving me the greatest gift in the world and that is Tony.

My heart hurts over the loss of sweet Tony. He and my niece Nicki had the greatest love of all for one another. They were truly blessed by this union. I never had the opportunity to meet his parents, but my heart goes out to them. Praying for you Nicki as you face this unbearable sadness of losing Tony. I am so sorry for your loss, I know what a good battle you all fought with Tony as it wasn't to long ago I did the same with my mother. His life on earth has touched so many and we are lucky for those of us that had the privilege to have known Tony. He know looks over all of us as another protector as its a sad loss we have to remember even tho the battle defeated him here he lives on in our hearts and charished memories and stands proud next to our father in heaven as a saint.
