Anthony Spallone, Sr.

Anthony Phillip Spallone, Sr., age 76, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones Friday, January 25, 2019.

He was born December 28, 1942 in Orange, NJ.

Anthony was a United States Air Force Veteran and was the owner/operator of A. Spallone Painting.

He was a loving husband, father, and a friend to everyone he met. He had gentle spirit and compassionate heart that was always willing to help someone in need, which mirrored the heart of Jesus Christ. He will be dearly missed by all those he loved. His kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.

He was an avid golfer and other interests included playing cards and billiards.

His parents, John & Marie Spallone preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jeannette Spallone; daughter, Cherie (Lee) Spallone of Delray Beach, FL; son, Anthony (Tai) Spallone, Jr. and grandson, Austin Spallone of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Esther Marino of Lake Ariel, PA; Rosanne (Alan) Tucker of Harriman, TN; brother, John R. Spallone of East Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel.

Interment will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.

Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
