Anthony Tuka

Anthony "Tony" Glenn Tuka, 71, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on July 21, 2023. Born on July 17, 1952, in Chicago, IL, Tony lived life to the fullest and was a fun-loving person. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, spending many years enjoying his Harley and the open road. Tony had a deep love for his family and cherished his role as a wonderful grandpa. He dedicated his spare time to helping other veterans, providing them with transportation to their doctor appointments and any other needs they had.


Tony is survived by his daughters, Misty Tuka, Venessa Blasi, Jasmine Tuka and son Ricky Tuka. He is also survived by his brothers, Tom Tuka, Eugene Tuka, and Frank Tuka as well as his brothers-in-law Marty Kain and Tom Timmer. Tony leaves behind several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Tuka, his mother, Ruth Tuka, his sister, Maria Timmer, and his sister, Lisa Kain.


Tony attended Holy Maternity Catholic School for his primary education and later graduated from Decatur High School. Following his education, he proudly served in the Army from 1969 to 1971.


After his military service, Tony embarked on a successful career, ultimately retiring from International Paper.


In his free time, Tony enjoyed various hobbies including golfing, motorcycle riding, hunting, and fishing. These activities brought him great joy and allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature.


A private family Memorial Service has already been held to honor Tony's life.

Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His infectious laughter, kind heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand will forever be remembered.
