Anthony Vaccaro Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 30 to Mar. 31, 2018.
Vaccaro, Anthony (Tony), passed from this earthly plain on March 27, 2018, at the age of 68. He was born on July 30, 1949, in Long Beach, California, to Thomas and Antoinette Vaccaro, his beloved parents who preceded him in death.
Anthony leaves behind his sister, Maria Vaccaro Hainey; his three children, Ryan, Nicholas and Katherine; his granddaughters, Rachael and Emily; and his extended family, Peter Ursano, Julie St. John and Lori Viola.
Anthony was a multi-faceted man. He completed his college education at University of California Long Beach; studied law at Pacific Coast University; became a licensed General Contractor, eventually starting up his own Company (Rynik - named after his two sons). He served his Country when he joined the National Guard. He was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild where he worked in stunts and built set designs, along with some minor roles in movies and TV. Anthony loved the ocean and maintained a beach lifestyle for most of his life, enjoying water sports and boating. He spent many summers in Hawaii with his family; had a home in Big Bear that he welcomed family and friends in to share ski season fun. His favorite times of year were the holidays which he made so special for all his loved ones each season throughout his adult life. His love of music and culinary arts were a joy in his life and provided him with many hours of soulful tranquility. When he played the piano, a pin could be heard dropping in the room; when he prepared a gourmet meal, everyone hoped to be on the guest list. He introduced his three children and his two granddaughters to the joys of living fully and provided them with lasting memories they will cherish forever. Anthony was a good son, a best friend to his sister, an adoring father and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. He was very much loved and his presence will be dearly missed. May God bless, and rest in peace, his soul. As we remember his life, we look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
Private interment services will be held (dated undetermined) at Pacific View Memorial Park, Corona del Mar, CA 92625.

My thoughts and prayers for the entire Vaccaro family. It is always difficult to experience the passing of someone who has touched your life in so many ways. To hurt and grieve is an indication of one who was much loved and who loved. May God comfort, console, and bless you with the many wonderful memories and a legacy of a life well lived. So sorry for your loss.

Tony and family will be remembered by the Louie Family for hosting wild fourth of July parties at their West Newport Beach house. Those were fun times, fireworks galore, the wonderful aroma of BBQ, Tony on the grill making killer Carne Asada. Katie, Nick and Ryan are gonna have to work real hard to match the outstanding hospitality of their super dad.

Dad you were truly one of a kind. You taught me so many things that have helped mold me into the person I am today. Thank you. You always held out a helping hand to those you loved. Your piano playing could silence an entire room for hours.
I know you'll be watching, but it saddens me to know that for all the things that have yet to come you won't be here for them. I love you Dad.

Love,

Your Daughter

We had the pleasure of having Anthony as our friend for 54 years. Not only was he industrious & always thinking of family first but he had several talents. Anthony was a meticulous general contractor always thinking of the client first & foremost. He was also a fabulous piano player & organist. We always thought he belonged in Carnegie Hall. He enjoyed water sports from Catalina to Hawaii making sure he provided these fun activities for his family. We look forward to being reunited with Anthony in Heaven.

Every person that speaks about you Dad says that you were the sweetest, best kind of friend to them. I know only now that I learned to be a similar friend to others, from you. I am you. The world is a lesser place without you you in it.

I love you.
