Dear Mrs. Zucco and family. Please allow me to extend my sympathy. Tony was one of a kind and I'm honored that I met him. He was a true gentleman and had a heart as big as the universe that was solid gold. He would amaze me how he could strike a conversation with anyone and touch their life in a positive way. I never grew tired of his stories and conversations. I certainly will treasure those moments and memories for life. God bless Tony now that he is pain free and at peace.

To Leonard and the entire family. I'm so sorry Jane and I did not make it to pay our respects to your father, but we only found out last night.
One of my childhood memories.
I remember sitting on the front wall on Brookline Blvd. Tony was squirting the hose as usual. He was occasionally having fun hitting me with a few drops of water and pretending he didn't do it. Then a bee stung my finger and I was crying my eyes out. Tony immediately looked at my finger and told me I would be fine. I continued to cry. Then he reached into his pocket and handed me a dollar. I imediately stopped crying.
I know it was a great moment for both of us.
God Bless Him.

God Bless him...What a great and fun filled family!
Mr. Zucco practiced his faith, even during his physical hardships. How difficult it must have been for him to attend Church but through the help of his family..he was always there. God loves us most during the most difficult times.
My childhood memory..I was always scared to call.
My prayers and love to all of you,
Mary Anne

My heartfelt prayers go out to all you guys. I spent a great deal of my teen years at the Zucco house and I called there at least 10 times a day. Every time I called Mr.Zucco answered the phone in that gruff voice.
"Hi. Is Mark there?"
"Who's this?"
"Danny"
"Danny who?"
"Mark's friend, Danny"
"Who?"
Danny! Mark's friend!"
long pause
"....Hold on."
Pretty funny. And he was always in a suit. Always.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember the times spent there.
God bless you. All my love,
Danny

To Zucco Family,
Your husband, father was a big part of my life when I was growing up. He was like a brother to my dad Palooka. My dad would always smile when he walked in the door. Anyone that really knows him will laugh about what I am going to say.He had a routine use the phone, washed his hands, took his pills, eat somthing and if you were a kid he would take a bill and tear in half to give to each of us. Then say go buy yourself something. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. The next day we would find a case of artchokes or eggplant on the porch. He will be greatly missed by me.
Love, Annette

I will always remember the funny times over your house and in the car as a teen-ager, and the "amusing" observations by Mr. Zuke. He came out of a rich era in Pittsburgh that will always be a part of me and I pray that I never forget.
