1928-2013
In Montréal on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at
the age of 85 years passed away Antoine
Dib Yousef Saad (Tony), beloved husband
of Nadia Akaoui. He will be sadly missed
by his beloved wife Nadia, his children
Joseph (Joyce) and Andrée (Salvatore), his grandchildren Nicholas, Olivia and Sofia, his nephews and nieces, many other relatives and friends. 'Tony' was an employee of The Montreal Gazette. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be greatly missed. He worked hard for his family because family was most important to him. Visitation will be held at Magnus Poirier funeral complex 222 Laurentides Blvd., Laval, Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 2pm to 5 pm and 7pm to 10pm, and Monday morning as of 9am. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at St-Maron Church, 1000 Gouin East, Montreal. Burial at Laval Cemetery, 5505 bas St-François, Laval. Special thanks to the all the doctors, nurses and staff who took very good care of him. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted and that proceeds will go to the Palliative Care Unit at the Montreal General Hospital.

I worked with Tony for many years in the Composing Room at The Montreal Star and later on at The Gazette. He was someone that I always enjoyed talking with, a kind, compassionate person.
I remember at time when I delivered a puppy to his house for his son. I lived in the country on a farm. My dog had many puppies. Tony and his family treat me like royality, offering me many types of coffee and home made desserts. I often thought of him from time to time. Now he is at rest with God our Creator. God bless his family and keep them strong at this very trying time.
