Antonio Gouveia Obituary
He was born in Mangualde, Portugal and lived in Fall River for the past 39 years.
Mr. Gouveia worked as a laborer in the local construction industry.
He is survived by three daughters, Emilia (Natividade) Gouveia of Toronto, Canada, Filomena McCarthy and Donna Dennis, both of Swansea; three sons, Antonio M. Gouveia of Westport, MA, Sarmento M. Gouveia of Swansea and George V. Gouveia of Plymouth, MA; 29 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish, South Main St., Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 6 - 9 p.m.
