Antonio G. Rodriguez was called home by his Lord and Saviour on May 4, 2015. He was born on December 25, 1945 in Houston, Texas. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Parochial Elementary, John Marshall Jr. High, and graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1964.
He proudly served the United States Army being stationed in Germany and Vietnam. After being honorably discharged he worked for Weingarten's grocery store and Safeway. He held various other jobs through the years always priding himself in being a hard worker.
Antonio was a man with a heart of gold who lived to love. He loved as largely as his personality was. When he made a friend, he was a friend for life. He was a family man who cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was a lover of history and traveling and had very fond memories of traveling through Asia and Europe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Esther Rodriguez, his sisters Angela and Connie, and his brother Rudy Rodriguez Jr.
He is survived by his son, Antonio Rodriguez Jr (daughter in law Maria) and his daughter Veronica Rodriguez Vanderwijk (son in law Jonathan)

Funeral services- Wake May 10, 2015 from 5 to 8pm with service at 6:30
Monday May 11, 2015- Service at 11:30am
Internment to follow at
Houston National Cemetary with Military Honors
