APRIL T.
Age 17, of Grove City, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Born in Pittsburgh on April 28, 1998. Daughter of Timothy C. and Amy P. Rodgers Bocian, Grove City; sister of Kacie Dapice, Pgh., Blake and Corie Bocian, both Grove City. April was raised Catholic and was an 11th grade student at Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage. A three year member of the girl's basketball team and the SMAC AAU Basketball Travel League. She enjoyed photography and the ocean. Memorials may be made in April's memory to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall St. 29th Fl., New York, NY 10005 or www.afsp.org. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Church of The Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center St., Grove City. Visitation hours will be in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, INC., 306 Bessemer Avenue, Grove City, PA on Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, May 8, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

April, it has been 4 years and you still cross my mind. Every time I step onto the court I think of you. I write your name on my shoes, wear the bracelet our SMAC team made for you, and pack the shirt we made for you as well. You are missed and I am forever grateful for the chance to meet you.

April was a breath of fresh air. I got the pleasure of getting to know her my first 3 years as a coach with SMAC. She was so loving and she always made me laugh. Have so many great memories to hold on to. Just know that now you have a guardian angel looking over everything that you do.
