April (Whiteside) Hinds Obituary
Remington High School and finishing at Bluestem High School. She later pursued further education at Butler Community College and Wichita State University. She dedicated 15 years of her career to serving the community through her employment at Wal-Mart.
April was known for her radiant smile and compassionate spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was immersing herself in a good book, nurturing her garden, or spending quality time with her beloved pets and cherished family and friends. Her kindness and positivity were infectious, always striving to see the best in people and situations. April had a joyful soul and loved to laugh.
April leaves behind a loving family including her husband, David Hinds; her mother, Dawn Carter; father, Jerry Whiteside; sister, Deanna Windholz (Marcus), nephew Landon, and nieces Charley and Addyson; brother, Daniel Carter; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Justin Whiteside, stepfather Dale Carter, grandparents Joe & Barbara Whiteside and Donald & Evonne Hedenskog, and niece Grace Windholz.
A memorial service to celebrate April's life will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 2pm at Douglass First Baptist Church, located at 107 S. Maple, Douglass, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations in April's memory can be made to The Muscular Dystrophy Association, supporting a cause close to her heart.
