GLENN. - Sir Archibald OBE. The Scotch College community mourns the death on Jan. 4 of Sir Archibald Glenn ('29), an eminent Australian who was a wonderful contributor to the School, the School Council, the Scotch College Foundation and the Old Scotch Collegians' Association (OSCA). Archie served on the School Council from 1953 until 1981, including as Chairman from 1963 until 1981. Archie's leadership throughout this critical time in the school's history was decisive. He was an astute and energetic leader with a fierce love for Scotch. His humility, consultative approach and respect for others and their views united the school community. Archie's character and contribution is reflected through a school that is justifiably proud of its past and confident of its future. Archie's warmth and wise counsel will be sorely missed. He gave generously in many ways and we are indebted to him. The School community extends its condolences to Sue, Elizabeth, Gordon, Fleur and to the Glenn family.
