Arden C. "Guy" Peterson, born January 29, 1929 in the town of Wolf River, to the late Christian Viggo and Ida (Sutter) Peterson. Arden passed away September 30th, 2017.

Growing up in the Town of Winchester on the Sutter Farm, Arden attended Mathison Grade School and Winneconne High School. On his 16th birthday he received his drivers license and immediately started driving for a milk route from Omro.

Arden proudly served his country during the Korean War as a corporal in the US Marine Corps. In 1952 he married his wife of 64 years, Betty Jensen. He worked at Kimberly Clark before starting a successful business, Tri-City Septic Service. Arden enjoyed fishing at Lake Poygan and working on his farm in the Town of Ellington.

Arden is survived by his wife, Betty, his sister, Dorothy Paschke, brothers-in-law Don Johnson and Floyd Jensen. Also surviving are his children, Guy (Sharon), Peggy Peterson, John (Bonnie), James, Judith Weiland, and Lori (Larry) Peterson. Grandchildren Shannon (Drew), Amanda Jo, Rachel, Erik (Daisy), Cheryl, Kimberley, Jesse (Amanda), Bridget (Lee), Valerie (Bill), Laura (Kevin). Arden was blessed with ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Special friends Bruce Anunson and Ron Zehner.

Preceding Arden in death are his sisters Ruth Schonscheck and Ethel Johnson; and special grandson Craig Peterson.

Special thank you to Anne, Brenda, Jim and all of the caregivers at Willow Lane Assisted Living for treating Dad like family. Thank you to Compassus Hospice for their care and support.

The funeral service for Arden will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Grace Lutheran Church, (8396 Steeple Hill Drive) Larsen, WI, with Pastor Connie Bramlett officiating. Family and friends are welcome to visit directly at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Military honors will be held.
