Arika Analise Harrison

Arika and I were total opposites, except for our love of food and a bit dark of humor I always teased her, that I was put in her life to teach her patience and she would agree and laugh. Arika usually text me when she was on her way to the office and send a meme of a car racing through traffic. I usually called her every Monday on my way to work, 8:30 was my given time, no earlier. Lol, I would call at 8:28 at times, she would answer, laugh and tease me. Arika was truly an amazing person, mother and friend. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

One of my favorite recent memories of Arika was when we were discussing our parents. She mentioned that her parents were cheerful people.

I didn't miss a beat when I responded, "So where did you get your surliness?"

As I was typing my response, she wrote back, "So how did I get to be so sour?!"

We immediately called each other and all we did was laugh until we ran out of breath at how we both thought the same thing at the same time.

Arika was a beautiful soul. As a co-worker, she always had a warm sincere smile that would always bring a smile to everyone's face. My heart hurts for her family's loss but know the world was a better place because she was here and made a difference to so many people.

She was a Blessing, a Gift and truly a treasure.... My heart is broken - but your son will continue your beautiful memory. Always loved - my wonderful Daughter....
