Ariosto and "Dolly" ... my Godfather and Godmother .. I learned to love at a tender age. Always wonderful and welcoming to me .. I have fond memories of spending time visiting with them and next door at my grandparents' house. Too bad the years drew us apart as I entered the military and spent 20 years in uniform and traveling. They will forever have a special place in my heart.

Tribute to Ariosto Tontodonati from Son-in-Law, Joseph Pezzano
Society likes to label generations with names that typify their character. I would like to name the generation from which ARIOSTO came from as the "UNREAL" generation.
Let's take a look at his life and put it into perspective....
What kind of man today could leave his native land, with a limited education, very little money and begin a "new" life in a country he knew very little about.
What kind of man would find a trade and work diligently to perfect his skills to become a remarkable craftsman in his own right?
What kind of man would think nothing of working 12 to 15 hours a day to provide a better life for his family?
What kind of man would sacrifice his limited leisure time to build a home with his own hands to provide a more suitable home for his family?
What kind of man would make additional sacrifices to raise 3 beautiful daughters and allow them the opportunity to have the education he never had?
What kind of man would remain loyal to his loving wife for 69 years, the act of infidelity never even crossing his mind?
What kind of man could love his new country and embrace it as much as his native land?
This, my dear friends and family, is the kind of man dreams are made of. This is just a snapshot of what a man whose 96 years on this earth offered.
Ariosto was truly a man to be emulated, a man to admire and respect, an honest man, a man of integrity.
I am proud to have been a part of his life and his family. I loved him and will miss him very much.
Until we meet again, YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON-IN-LAW.......JOE

Camilla and family, I have only heard the most beautiful and loving family stories of all of you starting with the warm loving stories of your parents: Dally and Ariosto. You have been blessed forever and now you have a generous star added to heaven to watch over you all. You have brought love to all you have known, Camilla and that's your parents' gift to you and your family. Love

Dear Elizabeth, Camilla and Family,
Our deepest sympathies e condoglianze a la famiglia di Ariosto. He was always a gentle, friendly and respectful person. He told great passionate stories, while we vacationed in Pompano. My late Dad, Alex Marciello liked him alot and admired his perseverence as he aged. My Mom Maddalena also sends her condoglianze during this very difficult time. Debbie, our girls and myself felt a sense of emptiness when we found out of Ariosto's passing. Our prayers are with you all.

Tontodonati Family sorry for your loss. Uncle Ariosto was a fine gentleman. Always with a smile on his face. I loved going to the house in Hackensack knowing that he and Aunt Dolly would come for a visit. May he Rest In Peace.
