Arlie Caudill Jr.

Arlie "Junior" Caudill, 85, of Miamisburg, Ohio, born in Blackey, Ky, passed away on September 14, 2023. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Junior found immense joy in spending time with his family. He had a passion for fishing, UK Basketball, and he loved taking walks. Junior was known for his soft-spoken nature and his wonderful sense of humor. He was a man of faith who cherished his church family and friends, often attending Sunday afternoon services at the Miamisburg Church of Christ. Junior truly loved life and believed that "every day on this side of the grass is a good day." He served as an exceptional role model for his family, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Junior is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jaunice (Griffie) Caudill; his daughter, Patty Caudill (Paul Arnold); his son, Harold Caudill (Rhonda Vinson); grandchildren, Lloyd (Brittany) Lamb, Ashlee Caudill, Jake (Olivia) Lanier, Kristen (Brennon) Purtee, Andy (Ashley) Caudill; great-grandchildren, Kimora Henry, Robbie Lanier, Logan Lanier, Chloe Lamb, and Evelynn Purtee; and many loved ones whom he considered his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Hodge, and his sisters, MaryLou LaFarry and Ava Courtney.

Junior's love for fishing, UK basketball, and Nascar, was evident throughout his life. He found true happiness in the company of his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always up for any shenanigans that the family came up with, demonstrating his good nature and love for making lasting memories.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 21, at 4:00 p.m., at the Miamisburg Christian Church, located at 1146 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Junior will follow the visitation from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Trinity Cremation Care and the Miamisburg Christian Church for their assistance during this difficult time. Junior's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
