Armando Arce Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 11, 2018.
Armando Frank Arce, 95, of Monroe, Mich. passed away on Dec. 26, 2017. He was born on Dec. 21, 1922 in Detroit, Mich. to Francisco and Esperanza (Zavala) Arce.
Armando was married to the love of his life, Irene, for 68 years. He was a loving, funny, talented, caring and forgiving man. Armando retired from Ford Motor Company, where he was a tool and die maker and quality control inspector for 16 years. One of his great pleasures was singing bass with the Monroe Chapter of the Barbershoppers, and the Floral City Harmonizers, for many years. He loved woodworking and built his house on Indian Trails, where he raised his family. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.
Armando is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Andrea Arce, Anita (Tim) Hughes, Armand (Sandra), Adrienne (Terry) Dike, Alan (Michelle) and Alec (Robin); nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dr. Aliscia (Norman) Pedelty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Aurora Guiterrez and Angela Arce.
Service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at toledocremation.com.

May the love of family and friends give you the strength to cope with your loss of Armando Arce. And may the comforting promise found at 2 Thessalonians 3:16 be of comfort. That "the Lord of peace himself give you peace constantly in every way. May the Lord be with all of you."

Dear Andi, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I often think about you and your family when I drive by their house in Indian Trails. My prayers are with you and your family.
Love,
Barb Johnson
