GRANT, Arnold E. Arnold E. "Sonny" "Joe" Grant, of Dedham, the retired owner of Grant Construction, died on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Milton. He was 87. Arnold was born in Boston and lived in Dedham for many years. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary C. (Cunningham) Grant, the loving father of Dr. Linda M. Grant and her husband Dr. Gerald F. Muldoon, Jr. of Milton, the devoted grandfather of Garrett Grant Muldoon and his wife Tiffany of CA and Caitlin Grant Muldoon of Boston, and the great-grandfather of Bishop Grant Muldoon. He was the brother of the late Barbara Young and is also survived, and fondly remembered, by 14 nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation in the Forsyth Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery 95 Forest Hills Avenue Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, July 19 beginning at 11:30 AM until a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Burial at Forest Hills will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arnold's memory may be made to Seasons Hospice 597 Randolph Ave Milton, MA 02186. Uncle Arnold's train set underneath his Christmas tree, swimming in his pool and his coke machine in the hut. He was a wonderful uncle and truly a nice man.
