Arnold Perman Obituary
Survived by his beloved wife, Susanne, his children Craig and Chelsey Perman and dear brother of Elliot Perman.
Service 11AM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ.
Interment will follow at Sharon Garden Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
Memorial contributions should be directed to a charity of the donor's choice

I just heard about the passing of Arnie Perman. Through dental school, sports and private practice one could not find a nicer gentleman. He was a beautiful person and will be missed.

I just learned of Dr. Perman's passing today when I went for my dental appointment. What a shock! He rendered excellent care to me for nearly 20 years. We would chat about our health club and catch up on sports. My deepest condolences were expressed to Craig and the entire family and office.

I learned of Dr. Perman's passing today, when our son Filip went for his dental appointment. Dr. Perman was our family's dentist for 20 years and he was truly the nicest person I have ever met. He always looked out for the best interest of his patients. He will be greatly missed by our family as a dentist and as a person for his sincerity, kindness and friendliness.
Our deepest sympathies to his family.

I learned today by my husband Mike that Dr. Perman has passed away. I made an appointment for dental work for Mike and when he arrived at the office today he was informed of this devastating news. Dr. Perman has been our dentist for 20 years, I can't express completely the sadness and shock we feel. I grew up with Arnie in Yonkers, N.Y. We went through P.S. 27, Hawthorne J.H.S., The Yonkers J.C.C. and finally Y.H.S. He was one of my closest friends through my growing years. I just found out of his passing and am shocked. We were athletes through all the years and there wasn't anyone I played B. Ball with I'd rather have in the trenches with me than him. He always had your back. Though as time passed, and many of our group headed in various directions in life, he will always be one of my favorite people I've ever known. I had a heart attack two months ago and survived. I heard about Arnie and was sad. I made it to the emergency room and he didn't. Arnie used to kick my butt when we were little kids and later we became friends. I haven't seen him since we were kids, but I always remember him shouting to me..."Hey Turk, want to play Triangle!." I was shocked and saddened at the news of Dr. Perman's passing. I've been his patient for close to a decade and he was an excellent dentist and a kind-hearted person. I actually enjoyed going to see him because I felt he truly cared. My condolences to his family and friends, he will be missed.

Nothing can describe the shock of having just learned of Dr. Perman's death. Our family has been patients of Dr. Perman for over 25 years. As others have said, he was more than just a terrific dentist. He was a wonderful human being. Dr. Perman truly cared about all his patients. We will miss him terribly.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Dr. Perman was an excellent doctor and a great man. I last saw him on September 4th. He was upbeat and mentioned he wanted to take at least a long weekend and go to Florida to enjoy a few days off. He will be missed forever!

Words can't express how saddened I was to hear of Dr. P's passing. I've known and worked alongside him for 18 years, and it was a terrible blow to lose someone so close. He was a kind and caring dentist, and more of a friend than a boss. He has had a great influence on me and my life has been enriched by my knowing him. I met arnie as a customer as my pizzeria was across the street from his office

Susanne, Craig Chelsey and Elliot my dearest condolences for your tremendous loss. Dr Perman will never be forgotten. I loved working for him with him, he is one in a million. He taught me a lot, he was the first dentist that hired me as his assistant all the way through as his hygienist. His final goodbye to me was thursday leaving work as he high-fived me saying thanx Shami. An amazing Boss whom i saw as a friend. I can't believe this has happened, its so shocking. Arnie was a kind man, a loving man, a funny man. Arnie was REAL. What you saw is what you got, a rarity and a quality to be treasured .My family was blessed to have such warm and funny memories of all of our joint family trips to the beach and all the times we spent playing in the hood. We all grew up together, the kids and the grownups. Arnie's passion and dedication to health and fitness make this loss all the more shocking. Sometime's even when you do everything right, bad things happen and it's just not fair. I loved Arnie. A lot. Joel Katie Max and I will never forget him and we will miss him always. Our hearts are with you guys in this terribly heartbreaking time and always.
