Brent Allan BOSTROM

Age 53, of Forest Lake Passed away at Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, on August 3, 2018, after a courageous 2.5-year journey with prostate cancer, surrounded by his wife and children as he entered the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by his mother, Rosie. Survived by his wife, Janice, children, Seth (Megan), Rachel, Samuel, and Lydia; grandson, Beck; father and step mother, Dan and Janice; brothers, Matt (Cheryl) and David (Tami); and many special in-laws, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Brent was born in St. Paul on August 18, 1964, to Dan and Rosie Bostrom. He was a 1982 graduate of Johnson High School and attended Northwestern College in St. Paul. He married Janice Halfpenny on January 16, 1988. They lived for several years in Woodbury before moving to Forest Lake in 2001. He was founder and owner of Boss Pumping until selling the business in 2017 due to health challenges. The family is grateful for the excellent care Brent received at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Our Lady of Peace Hospice. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 9, at First Evangelical Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood Street, Maplewood. Celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Friday, August 10, also at First Evangelical Free Church.
