Arthur Bernard Egol

Dr. Arthur Bernard Egol, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, pediatric dentist and Navy veteran (Lieutenant), passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025 at his nursing home in Connecticut after a long battle with dementia. He was 81 years old.

Born in the Bronx to Bertha (Hadler) and Nathan Egol, Arthur grew up in a close-knit Jewish family with strong Eastern European roots. He attended Queens College for undergraduate and then Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he found his calling in pediatric dentistry, a field in which he built a lifelong career.

Dr. Egol dedicated more than 30 years to caring for children in Stamford, Connecticut, where he resided with his family. Known for his gentle manner, steady work ethic, and kind heart, he left a lasting impact on generations of patients and colleagues.

Beyond his professional life, Arthur was a loving husband to his wife, Margo, and a proud father to his three daughters, Alyse (Gorenstein), Nina (Savitz) and Elizabeth. In his final years, spending time with his granddaughter always brought a smile to his face. His greatest joy came from his family, and he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Arthur's memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dr. Egol was laid to rest with military honors at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery on Sept. 2, 2025
