Arthur FARRUGIA Obituary
1932-2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Farrugia on February 5th, 2014 at the age of 81. He leaves his loving wife of 54 years, Bernice Iwanicki. He also leaves to mourn his daughter, Laura (Anthony); his son, Stephen (Genny); cherished grandchildren, Krista, Kelly, Zachary, Nicholas and Alexander; as well as four great- grandchildren and his family in Maine. Predeceased by his brother, John Sr (Elaine). Arthur retired in 1987 after a 34 year long career as a firefighter for the City of Westmount. An accomplishment he was proud of. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends. The family will receive condolences at St. Edmund's of Canterbury Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd, Beaconsfield, QC on Thursday, February 13th at 10:30 am. Service to follow at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lakeshore General Hospital Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated.

To the Farrugia family. My most sincere condolences to all of you. I will always remember Arthur’s kindness taking Steve and myself to the fire department in westmount letting me have the thrill of sitting in the big pumper and ladder trucks putting the lights on and blasting the siren. For a 12 year old it was a memory I’ll never forget .May his memories bring a smile to your face and his memories are forever blessed and cherished.I’ll always remember him as a kind and generous father,friend and husband . May he Rest In Peace.
