He was a bright spot in my life.
I was blessed to work for him during my time as a student at a local seminary, in the 1989-91 period. He was a truly gracious man, and taught me much by his words and ways,--including how not to wreck my back when picking up heavy things.

Nick was a high school best friend whose innate sweetness, sensitivity and sincerity wore well through the years. Our paths occasionally crossed and my fond memories of him and his family have remained constant. I feel a little piece of me has gone with him and send love and condolences to all the family.
