Arthur B. Harmon

Arthur B. Harmon (age 83) of Syracuse, UT passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 4:33 a.m. at his home in his wife Marilyn's arms. Born Sept. 27, 1932 to Lorenzo and Victoria Christensen Harmon in Milo, ID as the fifth of six children: Doloris ('21), Elton Lorenzo ('23), Jane Carol ('25) and Caroline ('28), Norton John ('36).
In 1950 graduated from LDS Seminary and Ucon/Bonneville High School. 1951 enlisted in USAF with global service. As Technical Sergeant received Honorable Discharge 1968. Marriage to Patsy Ann Passey ('35) brought children: Annette ('55) Steven Lowell ('57) Elise ('63) Rachelle ('64) and Quin Sterling ('68). Subsequent Marriage to Carolyn Jean Evans ('48) adopted children: Deborah Lynn ('67), Shari Suzanne ('69) and Brian David '(71).
Subsequent career 28 years in Service and Parts Management for Snapper and Toro throughout Salt Lake Valley.
Married his eternal companion Marilyn Gowans ('47) in the LDS Ogden, UT Temple on Oct. 9, 1987. His spiritual life was steady and stalwart as a Latter-day Saint.
Survived by widowed sisters: Jane Ball (Glenn) Rigby, ID, Caroline Hansen (George) Clearfield, UT; Marlene Harmon (Elton) Milo, ID; children: Annette Douglass (Kirk) and Steve Harmon (Teresa) Clearfield, UT; Elise Bunnell (Randy) Scenic, AZ; Rachelle Harmon Brigham City, UT; Quin Harmon (Stephanie) West Point, UT; Shari Hernandez (Omar) Ogden, UT; Brian Harmon; Deborah Bacon (David) Washington Terrace, UT stepchildren: Dave Aamodt (Janell) Logan, UT; Amy Hyatt (Todd) and Angela Talbot Farmington, UT and 32 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services scheduled 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 LDS Chapel, 3065 S. Bluff Road Syracuse, UT. Viewing same chapel Thursday Nov. 19, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to service. Interment at Lindquist Memorial Park at Layton, UT.
