Arthur LAPP Obituary
November 19, 1951 - April 27, 2012
Arthur Lapp passed away suddenly on April 27, 2012 in Calgary at the age of 60 years.
Beginning his career with Pacific Western Airlines, he retired from Air Canada after
35 years. He loved working with his
co-workers and customers, and was continually going above and beyond for
both. Art was a constant friend, whether
you needed help building your deck or finishing your basement, he was there
with advice and expertise.
He was also a devoted father and grandfather, his daughters will miss his calm presence.
Art is survived by his mother, Blanche
Lapp, three brothers, Ray (Callinda), Dave and Danny (Christina), his sisters, Marilyn and Darlene Nichol (Barry) his daughters
Tina Hendrickson (Dean), Laura and Carley (Tunde) and grandchildren Ryann and Kelden as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Elmer, and his sister Maureen Denton.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday,
May 4, 2012 between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00
p.m. at The Royal Canadian Legion #264 Branch 1910 Kensington Road N.W. Calgary, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Arthur's name to the Humane Society of Calgary.

Our condolences to Art's family. We have just learned of his passing and are sad to hear that he is gone. We fondly remember our neighborhood bbq's in Dalhousie and thought very highly of him. He was a very proud and devoted father to all his girls. May your memories of him sustain you.

It was a great pleasure and honor to work with Art at YYC.
Always smiling and dressed to the"nine's". His great respect to the passengers and fellow employees, no matter what airline will sorely be missed.
A consummate gentleman and great friend.
