I cannot believe this year (2024) makes 16 years that you have been gone. Not a day goes by that you are not thought of. And just to think when you left this world, you had only 1 grandchild (Aaron) now you have like 12 of them I believe.
Well I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you - like always - you may be gone but you will never be forgotten.
Until we see each other again.

I haven't seen Arthur for many years but that will never change the memories I have of him from back in the day. Arthur was my brother's best friend and a part of all of our lives for many years.
Bryan is still serving overseas in the Marine Corps but I know that he would be here to pay his last respects for a dear friend if he could.
Arthur, you will be missed by many. May God have mercy on your soul and may you experience the joys of His kingdom!

My heart and prayers go out to the Marin family.When I found out this happened I was deeply hurt. I have not seen him in years. Even now I can see his big smile and dimples. I will always remember His loud voice and his funny sayings. He was so funny and he always had you laughing.He had a good heart. To his family I pray peace and strength over you all. I know we have a loving God that excepted him home. That was a concern for me at first hoping he knew the Lord. Then the Lord gave me such a peace that I know that I know that beyond a shadow of a doubt that his soul was at rest and he made it home. God's mercy endures forever! He has some beautiful children that all look like him that just by seeing them you think Arthur.To his kids always keep your dads memory alive. One day you will be with him in eternity. Take care and God Bless you all!

TO OUR DADDY,
No words we write can ever say
How much we miss you every day.
As time goes by, the loneliness grows;
How we miss you, nobody knows!
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name,
But all we have are memories
and photos in a frame.
No one knows our sorrows,
No one sees us weep,
But the love we have for you
is in our hearts to keep.
We've never stopped loving you
We're sure we never will;
Deep inside our hearts,
You are with us still.
Heartaches in this world are many
But ours is worse than any.
Our hearts still ache as we whisper low,
"Daddy we need you and we miss you so."
The things we feel so deeply
Are often the hardest to say,
But we just can't keep quiet any more,
So we'll tell you anyway.
There is a place in our hearts
That no one else can fill;
We love you, Daddy!
And we always will.
XOXO GABRIEL, MARISSA, AND MIRANDA MARIN

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
