Arthur W. Peabody

Peabody, Arthur W. 81, died peacefully on January 23, 2008. He was a kind, unpretentious man who valued his friends and family, and appreciated a good sense of humor. He proudly served as an aviator in the US Navy, and taught his daughters the importance of integrity and a strong belief system. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lillian Peabody, daughter, Ann Dolores and sister, Emily Tousley. Art will be deeply missed by daughters and sons-in-law, Lee Ann and Mark Taggart, Amy and Terry Carr, Sarah and Greg Nelson; brothers and sisters-in- law, Paul and Dorothy Peabody, Hugh and Nancy Peabody; grandchildren, Caitlin, Madeline and Elisabeth Carr, Noah Nelson, Karl Taggart, Matthew and Nicholas Lyman; very special niece, Renee Johnson, and long time friend Karl Puterbaugh. Art was a member of the American Institute of Architects. He volunteered in Africa with Operation Bootstrap, MSAADA, VFW and Christian Businessmen's Assoc. Visitation Sunday, 4-7 pm at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 37th Ave. No. & Vicksburg Ln., Plymouth. Funeral service Monday 11 am (visitation 10 am) at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 Co. Rd. #6, Plymouth.
