I only knew Art for a brief moment this last year. But I found him as an amazing soul who had a generous heart and a sense of humor that always left me smiling. I like to believe that we were friends because any free time I had he would pull me aside to have a conversation as I would enjoy spending any free moment I had sitting, talking, looking through old photos. Even when he didn't feel like having company he always let me in. When he noticed I was pregnant, he was always very concerned, making sure I wasn't overdoing it. He is definatly someone who will always be in my heart and mind
I am very sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man.
He will be deeply missed by anyone he came in contact with, he was just that type of a guy.

Just a quick note to say I'm sorry I can't be there today. You will be in my prayers. I remember the time I was at Mom and Dad's for lunch and your Dad showed up. Mom wasn't home. But, we had soup and toast...and conversation! Enjoy memories of your dad - grandpa. Hugs - love, Keri

Art was a very special person who will be fondly remembered. When we were kids he had a bike that never had real tires, and it was difficult to ride on the sand.

Amy and family,
This is sad news for many of us. As we journey through life, it seems we're never really ready to lose those who have blessed us and in some ways we never do. We will always remember Art as a humble man with a booming engaging voice who always had a presence that was both interesting and always interested. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Love Always,

Dick & Sandy Hume
