of Pelham, NH; 68

PELHAM, NH -- Arthur E. Perron, Jr., 68, resident of Pelham, NH, passed away on December 22, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Lowell, MA, on April 12, 1945, the son of the late Arthur E. Perron. Married to his beloved wife, Rita C. (Pelletier) Perron, for 48 years, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Arthur graduated from Lowell High School in 1964 and went on to study Bell & Howell's electronic circuit courses through DeVry Institute of Technology. Additionally, he completed courses at Foxboro Instrumentation Technician School and Bristol Babcock Instrument Technician School. Arthur worked for 38 years at Hampshire Chemical, a Division of Dow Chemical Company, where his dedication and expertise led him to advance from electronic instrument technician to General Production Supervisor. Arthur was a member of Dow's Tank Car Safety and Incident Command. He also served as the Nashua Chapter Vice President of the International Management Council of the YMCA.

An avid sportsman, Arthur was a member of the Hampshire Chemical Softball League and served as the Treasurer and later as President of the Hampshire Chemical Golf League. He enjoyed playing ice hockey and racquetball, as well as hunting, fishing and boating. In addition, Arthur was an ardent NASCAR follower.

Surviving Arthur in addition to his wife, Rita, are two daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan R. and David M. Brackley of Old Lyme, CT, and Sandra J. and Robert F. Davern of Springfield, VT; his grandchildren, Faith V. and Drew A. Brackley; his brother-in-law, Paul E. Simoneau of Dunbarton, NH; and his brother-in-law and his spouse, Victor J. and Kathleen T. Pelletier of Hudson, NH; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was also the brother of the late Barbara J. Simoneau.

PERRON -- died in Merrimack, NH on Dec. 22, 2013. Mr. Arthur E. Perron, Jr., age 68, a resident of Pelham, NH and beloved husband of Rita C. (Pelletier) Perron. It being his wishes, all services will be private. Arthur also wished that contributions be made in his memory to Canine Guardians for Life, Inc., PO Box 304, Wolfeboro, New Hampshire 03894 or to Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
