Arthur PRUETT Obituary
October 9, 1939 – April 3, 2016
Arthur Andrew Pruett of Maple Ridge, BC passed away at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. Art leaves behind is loving wife Sally; daughter Kim (Chris) and grandson Avery; son Tom (Tanya) and grandsons Draven and Kayden. Sister Peggy (Wayne), Craig, Andrea and their families. Sister-in-law Joan; Michael, Tamara, Beverley and all of their families. Stepfamilies Barb (Jerry), Haley and Tyler; Michael; Robin (Lorna), Aaron and Chelsea. Predeceased by his parents Thomas A. and Elvira P. Pruett and brother Thomas. Art was born in Canmore, AB and was raised in Calgary, AB. Art was a retired Cpl. for the RCMP. He joined the force in Calgary in 1959. After training at "Depot" in Regina, he was stationed in Ottawa to begin his 28 year career. He transferred to BC where he served on Vancouver Island and later on the Lower Mainland. After his retirement in 1987 he worked for the Province of BC – Weigh Scales Commission. Art was a very proud, dedicated member of the RCMP Veterans, Masons, DeMolay, Chevaliers', O.E.S., Shriners as well as a Commissionaire. Arts' celebration of life will be held at Eureka Lodge Hall located at 20701 Fraser Hwy, Langley BC. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Masonic Bursary Fund – 105-1495 West 8th Ave. Vancouver, BC V6H 1C9.
