ARTHUR WILLIAM SAVAGE

SAVAGE, Arthur Of Waltham, formerly of Wellesley, passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving evening, surrounded by his loving family - his wife, Barbara Savage, daughter, Jackie Savage-Borne of West Newton and son, Rob Savage of Los Angeles. He is survived by his brother, Allen Savage of New York, and was predeceased by his brother Sheldon Savage of Danville, CA. Arthur was the beloved grandfather of Calvin and Lila Borne of West Newton. Arthur directed theatre in both Boston and New York and then went on to own and direct Camp Samoset in Casco, Maine from 1989-2009. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 2 pm at the Wellesley College Club, 727 Washington St., Wellesley, MA 02482. Family and friends are welcome to visit following the service from 5:00-8:30 pm at the home of Jackie Savage-Borne and Ben Borne of 167 Cherry St., Newton, MA 02465. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur's memory to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, www.mspca.org.
