Funeral for Arthur Edward ‘Eddie” Walling, 62, of Falkville will be Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Blair, the Rev. Shaun Kennedy and the Rev. Wayne Penn officiating.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
Mr. Walling, who died Monday, June 5, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital, was born July 31, 1943, in Morgan County to the late Harold J. Walling and Lucille Rhodes Walling. He worked for Monsanto in shipping for 35 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Falkville.
Survivors include his wife, June Lindsey Walling; two sons, Scott Walling and his wife, Jill, of Falkville and Clint Walling and his wife, Robbie, of Decatur; one daughter, Christy W. Hill and her husband, Alton, of Falkville; two brothers, Connie Walling of Hartselle and Tyrone Walling of Birmingham; two sisters, June Brazell and Joan Walling, both of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Draper, W.L. Early, Ronald Hope, Jimmy Steel, Roy Watts and Tyson Wright.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Brazell, Bobby King, Dexter Lindsey, Brent Walling and Harold Woodruff.
