Mr. Arthur Bleeze Whack, affectionately known as {BUDDY} {GRASS] and [GRASSHOPPER] was born to the late Horace B.Sr, and Ruth Calhoun Whack on September 23, 1950, in Louisburg, North Carolina. In 1953 the family moved to Durham, NC, where Arthur attended school and Northside Baptist Church. Arthur learned to adjust to his learning disability by being a quick observer. He would say "show me "then "I GOT IT," and true to his word, he would have it. He loved cars throughout his years, spending countless hours working on them. In the 1990s, he married the love of his life, Shirley knight Whack gaining more loving extended family members. In 2000 Arthur suffered a massage heart attack, and in 2001, he received a heart transplant from Duke University Medical Center. Later with Shirley's help, he became a contractor and owner of GRASSHOPPER Concrete company. In addition, Arthur was a member of Praise Worship Tabernacle ministries for 30-plus years. He loved serving God and believed in God, never giving up hope no matter his circumstances. He touched the lives of so many people. A man with many different talents, Arthur will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace B.Sr. & Ruth C.Whack, his brother Weston Tony Whack, and three sisters, Ethel Whack Branch, Ruth Russell Deberry, and Annie L.Whack Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Shirley Whack, and daughters: Evonne Wiggs of Manning, SC, and Wanda Allen of Four Oaks, NC. Three brothers: Horace Whack Jr. of Wilson, NC, Bradley Whack of Newark, NJ, and Jesse Whack {Jennifer} Whack of Orangeburg, SC. One sister: Susie Surles of Durham, NC. Four grandchildren: Tyree (Farrah) Anderson of Raleigh, NC, Jamar (Tanesha) Allen of Selma, NC, Deanna Governor of Raleigh, NC, and Olivia Anderson of Raleigh, NC. Five great-grandchildren: Pharrell Anderson, Tyree Anderson Jr, Mahki Anderson, Trinity Governor, and Jameson Allen. I worked with Arthur at the hospital for years. He was a hard worker and always had a friendly smile and would take time to say Hello. When I heard about his passing, it broke my heart. I am praying for peace and comfort from our Lord and Savior.

of Gods plan. He didnt preach from a Pulpit but lived out the plans God had for him he fault a good fight.
