Arvo H. Koponen

I was saddened to hear of Arvo's death. I was out of town but would have paid my respects if I had known. I remember Arvo as always smiling, friendly and making me feel like he was glad to see me whenever we met. He had a wonderful sense of humor and such a gentleman. Arvo was my grandpa's brother (Gunnard). I will always remember being at the cabin with Arvo and Lillian and using hotdogs as fish bait. Arvo was a great guy and a great help to my grandma when my grandpa passed away. He will be sadly missed.

Goodbye uncle i will miss you,had a lot of fun at christmas,s at shaw.I know my mother will miss you to she liked talking to you.

Thinking of you all. What a special, kind and caring man your dad and grandfather was! He was always so friendly and upbeat!
