Asher and Josephine both have been such close and longtime friends of our family that the Englers are more like family to us. Asher was a pillar of my life, a constant and enduring presence even from afar. I will always remember his smile and his laugh. Reading his incredible life story and then knowing the joy and enthusiasm he exhibited in life is a testament to his strength and optimism. He leaves a big void behind, matched only by the many lives he touched and memories we share. His memory will be a durable blessing.

I have not had the honor of meeting Asher, but knowing his daughter Orlee I have a pretty good idea of the MAN he was to so many. . "Love leaves more behind than Death can take away" May his memory always shine brightly

I met Asher and Josephine shortly after my marriage 60 years ago. They were practically the first Israeli couple that we befriended here.
In the later years I enjoyed listening to Asher´s beautiful voice at Chabad. He always chanted the prayer for Israel and for the safety of the IDF. Everyone just loved it.
Asher had a captivating smile, a great sense of humor and he was a wonderful story teller. He´ll be missed greatly.
