Ashley Nicole Edberg, 16, of Canosia Rd., died Friday August 23, 2002, as the result of an automobile accident. Ashley was born May 26, 1986, in Duluth, to Mark and Chris (Sylvester) Edberg. She attended Munger grade School, Jedlicka Junior High and was about to start her junior year at Proctor High School. At Proctor, Ashley was on the varsity soccer team and had played in the High School band. She worked at the McDonald's at Spirit Mountain. Ashley loved to Snowboard, camp, shop, go to movies, play soccer and spend time with her friends, family, grandparents and especially her brother Philip, and sister Kindra. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Ashley was preceded in death by her grandmother Suzanne Edberg and her grandfather, Philip Sylvester. She is survived by mother, Chris (Brent) Paulson, of Solway Twp, her father, Mark (Stacy) Edberg of Milwaukee, WI. Brother and sister, Philip and Kindra, both at home. Maternal grandparents,Fay and Bill Rogers, of Duluth, paternal grandfather, Ralph Edberg of AZ, maternal grandparents, Robert and Billie Edwards of Bemidji, MN, and Dean and Susan Paulson of Moose Lake, MN; paternal great grandparents Pat and Phyllis Ferrazzi of AZ, Maternal Great grandparents, Dick and Barbara Edwards of Florida and Dagmar Kuitunen of Bemidji; her boyfriend Brandon Cherrington; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. VISITATION:will be from 4-7 PM Sunday in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 12 noon to 1 PM services Monday, at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd St. Memorials to Proctor Varsity Girls Soccer Class of 2004 or a trust fund to her brother and sister, in loving memory of Ashley, c/o 3972 Canosia Rd, Cloquet, MN 55720
